Tortle
Before retreating to the depths of the oceans following the Divine Sundering, Amajal created another people to watch over the world for him. The tortles wander the shorelines of Resa carrying their homes with them on their back. Some tortles eventually do decide to stay in one place for a while, leading many to join together to form monastic orders.
Natural nomads, tortles have an innate connection to the natural world. Tortles act as vigilant sentries for any threats to the land or the water. As they travel the land they tend to collect various oddities and souveniers. Due to constantly carrying everything they own, tortle have also made a living as traveling merchants. They trade these items they collect as well as stories and tales of the lands they pass through.
