General Summary

The party talked to Jaysennia Amanita, who told them the reason she's here is to find her brother, Dominhall Amanita.
Kopala and Leaf left the group to speak and decided to take on her case and help find her brother. SNTR1 and the others made the same decision independently. The group will keep an eye out for any clues as to what happened to Dominhall Amanita.
Vernasco brought the group 100gp each and was about to lead them to their new home, but they were distracted by hearing the Baroness Altunka berating her son, Klaus about dishonoring their family. She slapped him, causing Leaf and Foggy to almost burst into the room. Kopala held Leaf back, but Foggy ran into Klaus as he was fleeing the room. Altunka came out and acted as if nothing had happened.
The group found their new home and leveled up over the course of a tenday.

Leaf worked in the mornings training with Captain Sultana, and spent his afternoons/evenings building a pen for & training his griffin, sometimes with Captain Caydense. He gained 20 hours of time spent training the griffin. He also bought some stuff.

Calloway was taken into Lient'roc to connect with the land with Caydense. He wasn't much help, but their connection to the land grew. They also went on their brunch date with Sherri and Sulphier, gossiping and drinking wine. They learned more about the situation with Klaus and the girl from a brothel he'd brought into the house, presumably the source of Altunka's ire.

SNTR-1 worked with Eidella, incorporating steam mechanisms into his design. Eidella encouraged him to step out of his comfort zone. He also hung around at The Lodge in the evenings. RAM (Readily Available Mindspace) was canonized.

Foggy worked on his own, blending into the shadows and people-watching at The Lodge. He focused on himself, maybe even a bit too much as he didn't actually learn much information. He did get better at reading people.

Kopala wasn't vibing with Gern Tos's brand of clerical growth, and so was sent out into the forest with Gernor Tos (Gerry) as a guide. While out there, the two discovered they had much in common, both dealing with a difference of faith from their families. Kopala encouraged Gerry to become stronger in his faith to Chelor. Great RP!

As a group, the team kept working together. Leaf reiterated that he would like people to stand behind him, Kopala encouraged the calming of emotions and deescalation of situations, SNTR-1 reminded them to focus on their objectives, Foggy opined that the best fights are the ones you don't have to have, and Calloway lightened the mood by pointing out that they should all be having fun.

Casters of the Coast was canonized.
The session ended with the Coast Gaurd starting their first official assignment: at the docks, two workers told of a companion getting dragged away by something with big, leathery bat wings... it might have been a v-v-v-v-v-vampire! Guess they'll find out next session.

Dominhall Amanita

Dominhall came to Port Shimmerly ten years ago, right when the Baron was getting everything set up. The Baron had hired him to design his house, but once here, Dom became suddenly obsessed with mushrooms. He disappeared shortly thereafter.
Dom was an eccentric artist/architecht/conspiracy theorist who has been known to go on flights of fancy for long peroids of time, so Jaysennia didn't worry about him until she recieved a shipment containing all of his belongings, including his art, notes, and other materials. It was all coated in a shimmery blue-black powder. The sample Jaysennia showed the group seemed like it might have once been something crystalline, inorganic, but had been fundamentally changed to the point of being unrecognizable. Like how petrified wood, it started as one thing, but became another. Calloway also sensed some residual magic from it. The group took the sample and looked over some of Dom's notes:

“The soil is not the soil”; “Air as a medium – the earth is how they speak for now”; “Projections of self or infections of others?”; “Self is soil? Fetid fertilizer of the mind?”; “I have, of late, begun that universal process of decay that starts with the disintegration of my left femur”
