Description:
Blue-black powder that sparkles light starlight in the air. Might have once been something crystalline, inorganic, but had been fundamentally changed to the point of being unrecognizable. Like petrified wood, but for some unknown material. Some residual magic. Its density is close to baking soda, but with larger particles.

The dust comes from the space between planes. It’s the result of “friction” between planes – tiny broken pieces from the far edges of various planes commingling. It’s extremely useful for plane shifting, as it provides a good focus/sample for nearly any plane of existence
