Session 03: The Adventure Venture
General Summary
Kopala Araumi confirmed with Captain Cassidiera that she wasn’t aware of the fungal stowaway. Leaf and Kopala attuned to the Ring of Monstrous Kinship and the Ring of Feather Falling, respectively. Once back at the docks, they met up with the Captains of the Guard. Captain Caydense investigated the mushroom and found it to be extremely odd; there was something about it so alien, even more than other continental oddities.
Leaf and Kopala took the captured large griffin to Reginald, who rewarded Leaf. They took the baby griffins to the stables where they are being isolated until a proper pen can be built.
Captain Sultana led SNTR-1, Callaway, and Foggy – along with the dwarf, whose name they found to be Tungsten Carthwright – back to the Guard Complex where the dwarf was imprisoned. Everyone loaded onto a carriage (with SNTR1 rolling alongside) and headed to Castle Iverfort.
Along the way, there was some discussion of the fungus, as well as the merits and downfalls of the agricultural clearcutting of some of Lient’roc. Caydense provided some context, saying that the influx of new ideas and technology (such as the introduction of constructs like SNTR1) had been decided by the Council to be worth the trade-off, and that there were always going to be areas left alone because of their wildness or importance to the Chelu-kaan.
At Castle Iverfort, the party was introduced to Baron Ivan Iverfort and the town scribe, John Rhosos. Rhosos presented the team with a contract to sign, and given pins with the crest of the Iverfort Barony that were connected to a sending stone that would let them know when they had a mission. Everyone signed (SNTR1 with permission of Eidella) and the Baron invited them to spend their afternoon at the castle. They ate an exorbitant meal in the greenhouse-like sunroom with all of their sponsors, and eventually decided to investigate the incessant clicking. The Baron said they were welcome to any unlocked door in the first floor and left them to their wanderings. The Captains of the Guard and Gern Tos left around the same time. Eidella came with the group to investigate the library at the end of the hall.
In the library, the Coast Guard discovered a half-elf woman (Jaysennia Amanita) furiously working on a strange machine on a table strewn with papers, many of which bore architectural designs. After startling her, the group agreed to give her some time to finish what she was working on and bring her some coffee before speaking with her further.
Leaf and Kopala went to get beverages, encountering the fan favorite NPC servant bartender, Gobson. They returned to the library and just had begun talking to Jaysennia Amanita, the art critic, when the session ended.

TLDR:
The team signs a contract with the Iverfort Barony and meets Jaysennia Amanita.
