  • Treatment

    Chelation Medication

Chelation therapy can be used to remove certain metals from the body, including iron. Iron chelation therapy is specifically employed in cases of iron overload disorders in humans, such as hemochromatosis or thalassemia; where there is an excessive accumulation of iron in the body.   Iron chelators, such as deferoxamine, deferiprone and deferasirox, are substances that bind to excess iron to help form stable complexes with iron, allowing the body to excrete the iron through urine or feces.

    Sequela

    If untreated, complications may arise:
    • Irreversible Brain Damage
    • Organ Damage
    • Infertility
    • Nervous System Damage
    • Seizures and Unconsciousness
    • Death
Deterioration of ones dignitas can result in a stagnation of bodily systems that typifies chunks of themselves falling apart. Paradoxically, this is normally preceded by an intense swelling of random body parts.   Naturally, a dignitatic decrease also means a decrease in auric potency which would leave victims exposed to energies with which they were normally unfamiliar.

    Affected Groups

Laplwyd biology is partly transdimensional. That is, not a lot of their bodily systems are all there; within the same plane of existence. But move in-and-out of dimensions all their own.   Even they do not truly know how their bodies work.
    Zanetti
Several cognitive and circulatory functions within laplwyds physiology are required, even enhanced, by dignitas. They cannot survive without it.   The natural levels of ambient dignitas can vary between individuals, so certain laplwyds may lean on it for their internal systems more than others due to the greater efficiency than the mundane way. Iron, for some mysterious reason, eats away at this ability within them. And only them.

    Prevention

    • Prevent foals from playing in soil likely to contain high quantities of iron
    • Eat a healthy diet
    • Wash regularly
    • Strengthen ones own dignitas through regular practice
