Discovery
Either Lazzaris, or an earlier griffin-like species, had discovered the unusual properties associated with the burrows.
From there, the settlements of Meanomore and Mallorca guard the burrow entrances and facilitate the transfer the reality-woven products.

Spinning Reality
Moirai is such a place where multiple realities are frequently torn apart and reformed into the whims of spider creatures. The laplwyds, and an earlier species, had learned to use borowas as a means of rapid construction. They trained them to spin many other kinds of shapes, instead of just there nests, that can then be taken through the borrows back into Manidweepa. And because they were made from literal threads of reality, they were impervious to any kind of destruction.Refinement
Dimensional Dependent Differences
As a simulai, gleipnir can have different properties depending on which side of the opal portal it presently resides.
Gleipnir possesses super dense qualities while in Manidweepa, without enacting the typical gravitational consequences of super dense stuff.
Contrastly, gleipnir inflates into chains while in Miasmic Astral, provided it was not tied into a knot. Elsewise, it would violently explode as it ties to unfold itself.
