The people of Merosa are a proud kind, while their land is small, they had the fighting spirit and technology to become the dominant force in the ocean. They're therefore sometimes a little arrogant when it comes to certain things.
The people of Merosa maily believe in Averas, the tinker, for it it thanks to him, that their technology is as advanced as it is today, and why they were able to dominate the ocean.
The people of Merosa stricktly serve gods and primordials, not allowing the servitute of demon, devils, and so on...
The people of Merosa, and people in it, are allowed to serve the following gods: Phankasis, Osma, Thraxien, Severly, Imperius, Daserius, Claria, Uldin, Osgil, Dimitrix, Kelius and Averas. Additionally, everyone is allowed to serve Aqua, The infinite sea, and it is greatly encouraged.
People of Merosa who die, are often sent out with another batch of dead people, to have a burial by sea. A lot of people bring most of their wealth to this, therefore, Merosa is a large source of treasure in the ocean, it is incredibly frowned upon and illegal to rob these sites.

Merosa is set as a neutral country, normally not offering aid to people asking, they can however be persuaded, should there be a just cause and reason, for them to rally behind.

History
TIME OF ESTABLISHMENT When a pool of around 10.000 people of Acren decided to migrate to another country, because they wanted to be able to utilize magic, for their construction, and day to day benefits. They were looking for a new place to call home, eventually finding an archipelago full of life and beuty. Not everyone survived the journey however, the people who survived were given bourial by sea, and this quickly became a tradition. The people of this new continent decided to call it Merosa, and became the Merosien. After that they quickly became technologically advanced, now having the technological knowledge of Acren, and their newfound arcane power. They used this to build the strongest navi the world would ever see, wowing that noone would ever be able to take their new homeland.
After a couple of years, the people of Merosa, who had been building structures, and all sorts of contraptions on their new continent, ever-expanding, stumbeled upon what looked like an eldridge tempel to some tentacle creature, upon attempting to explore it, all the crews never returned. An arcane barrier was set in place, to guard anything from escaping from it, as well as stationary siege enines, should the barrier ever fail.
We may only own this little land, but the entire ocean is ours!
