Culture

Madranians are, ancestrally, a light mixture of two cultures: Weswalandian and Brabermian. Since the rule of Maxamilian Madrane, they have only considered themselves to be Madranian. Most Madranians consider outside nations unreliable. Poor tactics in war and a return to the typical strife that plagued West Ruanteia brought people to Karib, and it fueled their fervor for strong leadership under the Madrane family. While the warmongering behavior was stronger in Madrane, most Madranians are convinced that it would be better for Madrane to control Espiria.

Peace in unity, calamity in division.

  • Madrane Empire
The Madrane Empire is the largest country on Espiria. It's start as a smaller city state did not hinder it from growing into a military powerhouse. The Great Espirian Mountains provide excellent defense against other Espirian nations, though also prove to be an equal deterrent to them. The Republic of Samaria has maintained independence because of the mountain range, adding fuel to the fire of Doru Madrane's rage. Long ago, as a symbol of the Madrane line, red maples were planted across the empire, and forests of black pine were planted for ritual temples.
