History

The Blessed Nipple Ring is worn by the Clebveth who follow the Clebveth Pantheon. It is one of the remaining physical elements of this religion, and has been used by the Clebveth since before recorded history on Celebrate.
When the Clebveth entered into a treaty with the Peacekeepers and became part of Peacekeeper Alliance, part of the agreement was fundamental changes to their religion, and a lot of the items related to their faith were lost. The Blessed Nipple Ring is one of the few that remains.

Utility

Each Blessed Nipple Ring is unique to the owner, and is blessed by them in one of the holy places on Celebrate. It is worn, usually underneath clothing, and acts as a reminder of the gods. As a naturally anxious people, it gives them the comfort they need that there is someone or something watching over them and that life isn't a series of random events.
Some wearers are known to play with their ring when they are particularly nervous or uncomfortable as they believe it brings them luck.
