Cassandra

Cassandra is the god of water, chaos, darkness, and secrets. She is also known as the Seabed Sorceress. She/Her (kuh-SAND-dra)   Appearance/Symbolism
She appears as a tall muscular woman with pale turquoise skin. Her skin is covered in tattoos that appear as the remnants of waves washing against the sand. Her hair is long and black and sticks to her face. Her clothes are often revealing and consist of dark greens and blues. Her symbol is in a vase-like shape that appears as curling tentacles. She can often be seen alongside inky darkness and imagery of serpents. Her throne is made of coral and sharp sea-side rock.   Pictographical Details
The pictographical details of her symbol in Celestial script have swirls of intentionally ambiguous meaning, symbolizing both crashing waves and the grasping arms of the kraken. Her symbol bears the Mark of the Sealed.   Status and Relationships
While she is one of The Eighteen she no longer has a prominent voice on the council and their decisions. Her podium has been removed to represent her voice being muffled among the other gods. She was one of the Gods of Falsehoods and was restrained by the ocean totem. She is the ex-wife of Cug. She, along with Roux, was the leader of the Gods of Falsehoods. She is currently outcasted among the Eighteen and especially hated by Shiri who blames her for their imprisonment. She like many of the older gods sees Mother Nature as a material figure but no longer in a positive sense. She has always been competitive with Fallon as the chaos of the ocean and the structure of civilization conflicts and is in part of the instability of ocean civilizations such as Atlantis.   Personality
She is manipulative and ruthless, often lulling those she knows into a false sense of security before using them for her gain. She is always trying to find an angle to benifit herself and get a step up. This is esspically true after the her imprisonment.    History
Cassandra has been intertwined with a number of historical events.   The first of which was her stance during the Trial of the Akramak. She took up a strong voice in advocating for their abandonment. She also took the loss harshly turning away from the Eighteen and developing the complexities of her domain for a few decades.   Due to her input in the Trial of the Akramak, children of orcs and triton have a relatively small chance of being born as her Chosen, a powerfully built group of orcs with the heads of fish, mounted sideways to allow them to see forward. They have no benefits or detriments over a normal orc-triton other than reduced body fat, increased muscle mass, and, most notably, susceptibility to hearing her voice at critical points in their lives.   She is also most infamously known for her leadership among the Gods of Falsehoods. Along-side Roux she led the Search for Power that ended in the death of Plutius and her imprisonment. Her punsihment sent her to sit in the darkness of the ocean floor for imprisonment, making the ability to communicate with mortal extremely tedious. She was also blinded so that all she can see is a burning gold as part of her punishment.    The Atlantean Termoil is also largely due to Cassandra's involvment. Atlantis had always been a civilzation of instability. This is mostly due to Cassnadra and Fallon's continious disagreements. Fallon had always wanted to extend his domain to the ocean but the chaos and mystery of the ocean has shown resistance to this effort and that view is shared by Cassandra. Now after Cassandra's imprisonment, Koa has chosen to look after Atlantis as a favor to her friend. This has only led to more conflicts with the Court of Countillan and other nearby civilizations,   Notable Worshipers:
  • Many of Cassandra's Chosen, often unwillingly (including Omoglug Mold)
