Immortal Siivakian Empire

The ISE, or Immortal Siivakian Empire, was the older form of the k'siiva empire that spanned dozens of centuries in the distant past. Its speculated to have taken root sometime with great political exchange, interests, and collaborations all occurring on the (likely colonized) world of Vaxhora. Once genetically enhanced unification and global interests were set in motion, it was somewhat natural for a large political body to happen for discussions on a gradual coalition with other intelligent races. However it unfolded in a way of leading one family to hold and contain the title to prevent other's squabbling, and prevent another species' declaration of power over them, so they rolled the power into a prestigious clan identity and its top patriarch as The Emperor.   However the ISE was still primitive enough that k'siiva still favorably experimented with concepts of immortality, and a lack of decaying from reincarnation. The emperor himself was always vastly fascinated to hold the best knowledge and power himself to do this, and his keepers and wives were tasked to help document his memories and moments to a vast degree for if (and often when) reincarnation did happen, and would play much of it as possible back through the new life's education. If the emperor ever contradicted past desires or decrees, it would fall to a special set of judges to help legislate the best course of action. All the while through some lives, the emperor was trying and somewhat incrementally succeeding in longevity. Yet as others proved to fail in this pursuit by falling mad, ill, etc, there was more of a concentrated effort to ban and run finer tests on the ability. The emperor was also going through what may be only one recorded life reincarnated a female, and saw more reason to reincarnate more than most lives, also helping to push forward this ban and reasoning onto others. Yet, the next male form carried on the tests for their-self. Eventually, this came to a closer success, and ultimate ruin.   The emperor gradually became more unstable, invoked more need for external judges and legislation until it ran tyrannically over them. It was said he lived to be roughly over three-hundred years in this life, and induced more subtle chaos before turning outright more savage and war-crazed in the final twenty years. Across this condition, quite a few actually followed or were even directly in-sync with parts of his corrupting aura, but a lot of others (including those archiving knowledge from his better conditions) fought back, and a civil war began splitting the empire apart while many other races were tossed around as collateral. It was officially disbanded on the emperor's true death, and succeeded by the "New Empire" often dubbing scholars and loyal and legal types under its banner as "Polishers" looking to rebuild the better attributes of this era, while denouncing any attempts of immortality.   Initially each life of the emperor was embedded into a head on the flag, until after the third head. It was then simplified (in part for dimmer and easily confused other races) to be a five-headed k'siiva for the flag no matter how many lives the emperor would pass through. However aside from that, colors and uniform varied not only by planet and colony, but even by race and job type. Some species never adopted a similar or distinct uniform while promoting and proudly serving the empire.

Demography and Population

  • K'siiva make the stark majority, with about 12% of them being a type regarded as Korl workers.
  • Vyllk were an early and strong ally to both empires, starting talks in the early-mid periods.
  • Vulpiran fox people made up a portion, but had to be segmented to isolate their home for further studies
  • Ho-nahts of mostly Shghot types joined some unions in the mid-late periods.
  • Kayltoans reptilians were gradually introduced by mid-late.
  • Shitaren late race, isolated and slowly adapted to the empire from Cheetani origins.
  • Merzian aquatic-humanoids in the later periods.
  • Tigiren, late from a sector off their fallen empire.
Failed integration attempts were made with races like the Lionkin, Kwallion, Qi'pi insectoids, Dorva, and Draeson, Tarken, and Kab Ho'nahts.

Military

Outfits

The military utilized numerous innovations that are actually some of the peak of defense and offense to even modern K'siiva. Dark plated and under-mesh based on an alloy between nyulisian steel and an iron from their nearest moon and asteroid belt they call xhoradon. They still refer to the mixed alloy as Xhoradian steel (Xhor for short), and use it in varied forms from rigid high iron (guns, rods, exterior design), to more flexible low iron (armor, exo-suits). This material blocks common blunt munitions, endures plasma, deflects internal heat retention while accepting sunlit warmth easier, and typically stops cold at the surface but can risk stacked ice. Unless otherwise wearing a special suit, the main Xhorplate suits reject nanotech in favor of augmentations and digital aids. Tail motors are equipped in every suit, with slither guidance silently working to help carry common weight, while a dasher mode is made for full body crawling in rapid motion.   Alternate suits include the OrraScale suit which does carry nano-tech to a full effect of us, including temperature controls, auto-cloaking, and rapid adapting technology to the landscape. There is also the exosuit attachment sometimes adopted over main xhorplate suits called Skybelts, clipping in around the back and base of the tail like a jetpack. It has four grappling appendages, jet thrusters, and extensive customization that can vary between mounted guns, ammo cache, or smaller personnel mounts for small ally races to actually hitch onto. The legs can help scale difficult terrain, or be used as weapons or grapples around foes.

Weapons

The Gelbeam Rifle is among the most versatile and effective, often carried light and dealing heavy damage. Its the most used weapon, dangerous, but considered to be used only when harm is necesary. Its tube structure, and geltoid batery, end in a system of semi-auto or volley-fire of shock & explode hot orb projectiles. Its ammo can be replenished live off biting a new onfield enemy, and vacuuming them into a battery cell magazine.

Vehicles

StarFleet vehicles - often marked in Imperial Siivakian Star Vessel include:
  • ISSV Fang: Common fighter jet type class, manned by only three at max, and can be handled by a solo pilot and limited drone function.
  • ISSV Beak: Engineered more for ally-friendly use, inspired off Vyllk engineering.
  • ISSV Interloper: Small recon ship, potentially manned or automated. Can produce smaller drones.
  • ISSV Explorer: Small science team vessel, housing its own interloper. For special studies requiring personnel and more serious data collecting, health cautions, or other worries.
  • ISSV Command Explorer: A science starship large enough to become established as a base for more serious colonizing studies, and generations of family accommodations. All features of the regular explorer present with extensions. May even accommodate children play rooms, and advanced detentions centers.
