Gelbeam Rifle

A common rifle among the siivakian race. Powered by cannisters of geltoids, its a rifle made to expend venomized victims into a raw energy weapon. Pulling the trigger charges the length of the shot, meaning a long charge shoots a steadier burst, while a quick draw sends shots out semi-auto style. The weapon is usually far lighter than it appears, long and chrome with a bulky barrel design. The magazines are direct from a geltoid canister, however even pressed in and used, they mark the highest vulnerability as a combustible battery unit. The munition also fires mildly slow, as small green ball projectiles. However a successful shot both stuns and micro-explodes against the target, doing serious damage to both automation and mid-armored (or worse) organics.
