Bjern Half Elven

Bjern Freeman, also commonly known as Bjern Lakadon, was an Ostian Sorcerer and a lieutenant of the Pacificatores. He was the youngest son of the Inquisitor Galahad Half-Elven and grandson of Saint Kairoz the Andorian.

Personal history

Bjern was born in Arisfurgz as the second child of Galahad Half-Elven, a former member of the Venatores and himself the son of Kairoz the Andorian, a Saint of the Andorian Church. His mother, Regina of Sigriva, was a Priest of Nymm.
In the age of 17 he had a falling out with his father after manifesting his magical talents. His father wished he would go study in korvach, under the watchful eye of the Inquisition. Bjern had a different opinion, wishing to study at the Conclave of Magi instead. An fight broke between the two and a fire erupted at the family house. Bjern fled to the Free Cities of the Agaman Bay as his father branded him as a maleficar.
He signed up with the Pacificatores in Verrona and was provided a new identity under the protection of the organization.
Not much is known about Bjern during his time serving with the Pacificatores except that he fulfilled several roles in the Office of Martial Affairs of the organization, mostly as a foot soldier and later as a Lieutenant.
Bjern died while in duty in 1311. While patrolling the Howling Hills his squad was ambushed by slavers of Clan Goravroth. He was promoted to Captain postmortem and left no known spouse or offspring.

Family Ties

While closely related to the Aderian rulling family and being the grandson of an Andorian saint, Bjern cared little if at all for his ancestor's lands. He rarely mentioned his family, even his brother with whom he parted with on cold, yet good terms. He held little regard for family and chose the company of his fellow soldiers instead. He was never married and It is unknown if he had any children of his own.
