Composition

Manpower

Hunters usually work alone or with a retinue of varying size and composition. In some cases they might join forces with agents of other orders, but it is best to say that there's no general case.

Equipment

All ranks dress the same, with white-gold vestments, a weapon of their choice, and a holy symbol. Ordained inquisitors are equipped with an Inquisitor's Gavel, which is a +1 magical warhammer. They may, however, equip themselves as they please, as long as they remain clearly identifiable as inquisitors.

Vehicles

Ordained inquisitors are provided with a riding horse. Other than that, save for few exceptions, hunters may be lent various means of transportation (e.g. horses, carriages) temporally.

As long as theyre assisting, an ordained inquisitor may utilize any and all assistance they can get. Usually said assistance takes the form of local authoraties, but it is not unheard of that inquisitors dealed with less than legitimate "service providers". Furthermore, in more than one occasion it went on record that a hunter ordered a prisoner free for it to help him.

Recruitment

All members of the Venatores are as such by choice. They come from all walks of life, and they must be well known as devout and religious.
