Midway Point

The Midway Point is another one of those places in Dustbane City that very few people understand. It is a fjord that appeared after the two Geozones surrounding Dustbane City fused together. However, if you asked anyone living there, they probably wouldn't know how it formed.

Geography

The Midway Point is where the disparity between the North and South sides becomes more apparent. The fjord is split into two valleys with a river running through them. It starts on the west of Dustbane City and runs right at the mouth of the river.
Both valleys are mountainous with the northern one having more mountains and the southern one having more dunes and hills.

Tourism

Being confined to one city hasn't really helped anybody.

While not exactly tourists, Dusters have found the perfect set of challenges to cure their boredom. The most common challenges often involve travelling through the Midway Point. These range from moderate to outright dangerous.

Normal Travel

Most people just want to take a trip through the Midway Point, mainly to see if they can survive going through two Geozones at once. It's a well-documented fact that most humans and half-humans don't survive as there is so much pressure between those zones, so many humanoids take their chances.

Kayaking

Almost everyone agrees this challenge is on the more ridiculous side. The more daring folks take a strong kayak and paddle down the river in the fjord, from source to mouth. Not only is it dangerous, it's harder to navigate during the harsh winters or scorching summers. But humans and humanoids aren't known for their caution.
