Breaking with tradition and rather follow one's passion is a danger in the Orfordsmen's culture, especially for lower nobilities sons that are expected to become knights and part of a Svirth. Becoming a scholar was for non-able men or for those who were not from a noble house, neither of which Ambrehem Faught was, being a strong-built man and perceptive. Ambrehem also chose put out a theory about the Nimenra that was purposely avoided and not presented by men of sound mind; that Nimenra was once home to other beings other than Humans and Demons. Ruins like Tower of Cuthura, The Rivér Towers and The Aged Hall of Manir point to that fact being the case, even if other scholars have said them to be Human built.

Amberhem had to because of this theory hide a long time from the Cult of Orios in his home country of Orfordwhelm until he was able to flee to the Kingdom of Telaron. Amberhem's theory was still a progressive thought. When he finally was able to discuss it with scholars that could at least offer the thought a chance he expanded the theory to include that Humans might have at one time even encountered "the others" as he decided to call them. Even if they were Humans they still showed a technological leap between the at the time tribal human societies and The Other's stone works and roads that still exists today.

Even after he had escaped Orfordwhelm, Ambrehem was always looked upon in the scholar community with sceptical and afraid eyes. Going against The Eight Pantheons views on history and trying to understand the historical past the Era of Jorvik had been troubling for many before Ambrehem's books and theories. Ambrehem did not create a lasting print on the timeline but the thought of others before Humans and Demons are still spoken about by scholars after his facts were presented.
