Wildcross Harbor

Wildcross Harbor is a large town undergoing rapid growth. The place is in serious debt to all kinds of nobility, guilds, and organized crime. There are very few public services and no real established government.Despite all of this, the town's reputation is pretty good.   The cost of living here is high, you will be hard pressed to find poor level accommodations. Not to worry, though, the prospect of you finding employment is very good.   Wildcross looks like your typical town from across the sea. Each building is well built and well maintained. The streets are usually clean, though the back alleys and roads can get quite filthy.   The population of Wildcross is dense, filled with all kinds of people who have traveled far from their homelands and are now stuck on these wild islands. They tolerate visitors.

Government

Wildcross has no formal form of government. It is a collection of factions that are all trying to get their footing in the wild and unforgiving region. The only order in the chaos are the Helmish Paladins that strive to keep the peace and the few laws that are present in this chaotic town.   The laws here barely exist, so what is being enforced is the bare minimum. Most of the crimes below that are labelled "Legal" are simply not always enforced.

  • Bloody Crown - a cult of priests that is rumored to have found a powerful artifact and is searching for more
  • Iron Coin - a group of merchants that are striving to create a political system free from the influences of nobility
  • Church of Apotheosis - A church devoted to following the Blood of Apotheosis but open to all religious devotees.
  • Mage's College - A branch of the mainland College with ties to great mages throughout history.
