He's nearing obese, but he has a sharp mind. He's almost magical when it comes to winging recipes and dishes in the kitchen. That mind of his has also earned him high marks in classes in the Mage's College. It's also caused him to turn away from any worship of deity and instead turning to focus on the self, as taught by the Church of Apotheosis. Though intelligent, he is quite clumsy. He often knocks over others in the kitchens. And goes through way too many spatulas. People looks passed that, though, because his meals are so darn delicious.Mannerism

Umbero has quite the hot temper. He can be verbally harsh and cruel. Not to mention loud. His companions in the kitchens often try to keep him happy and step carefully around him when he bumbles and trips. He... doesn't have very many friends in school or at church for this reason. Umbero does have an acquaintance whom he aided. He fended off an owlbear for a horsebreeder. As such, visiting this horse breeder with note from Umbero can result in a mount for half-price!Ideal

Finally, he envies people that are the best. He envies Tolbrin Mortise. You thought Umbero accomplished a lot in his year on the island? He doesn't even hold a candle to the legendary Tolbrin. He also envies his boss in the kitchens. So what if Umbero is only cooking 1/4 time? He could do all of what his boss does and more!Complication
Umbero Astorio is not going to forget Vashti. Not until she has soundly defeated him, anyways.- While he remains a rival, every time Vashti attempts a skill challenge, she must make her first skill check at disadvantage
- Before Vashti can confront Umbero, she must complete 2 easy skill challenges and 1 medium skill challenge
- Roleplay Encounter (5 lines of dialogue): Vashti encounters a furious Umbero, and his anger finally turns to rage. Ever since Vashti entered his life and he became obssessed with making sure she didn't take his spot in the kitchens (he recognized her talent), things started to fall apart for him. He blamed her. He resorts to violence.
- Combat begins; Umbero has a skeletal warhorse to boost his movement. It does not attack. This is a hard encounter. Ping a DM to determine what moster block best fits the encounter difficulty
- Combat concludes; Vashti gets an identified Staff of the Woodlands
