These intelligent Gauthra belong to no world or space but live between the ticking seconds. They proliferate in places of Power, somehow feeding off of it, and produce Time and live within it. It was them who existed before any intelligent life (or perhaps any life) on Earth and by their labors created the unordered Time by which intelligent life could emerge.
They are spectral and have no physical form, sex, or culture to speak of but they do possess an intricate and complicated language, all translations of which have failed. Their name comes from Oozo, a sound which occurs frequently in their speech patterns, and Middlemindre -riand suffix. When Helenaphe created ordered Time, the number of Oozoriand sharply decreased and those extant moved and operated more slowly. Over the years, the number of Oozoriand has steadily declined which is tied to the great Deadening of the Mindreland.
