Session 41 - Assisting the Assistant
General Summary
The party rode out of Riverbend after Finn freed Amber Nashwood from her imprisonment. After 10 minutes of silence, Eleanor asked for answers. Hamilton, Sasha, and Eleanor spoke for a while on how to deal with Finn. Eventually, they pulled the carriage over and confronted Finn by a campfire. Finn was defensive of his choice, and stormed off to the carriage. The others slept under the stars that night. The next morning, Sasha took Hamilton out hunting, while Eleanor walked with Finn and chatted with him. Sasha and Hamilton bagged an elk, and encountered Goodwin's personal assistant, Sinclair. They discovered that Goodwin was going to be doing a demonstration in Cliff's Edge, and Sinclair was tasked with gathering some supplies for it, but he got lost in the process. Sasha and Hamilton agreed to escort Sinclair up to Cliff's Edge for payment. They regrouped with the others, and discovered a Flame Kindred was being kept in the back of Sinclair's carriage. With that, the party pressed on. Sinclair explained to the party what a Kindred is, and showed how deeply methodical he is. The party eventually arrived in Central City, where they all separated for the time being. Eleanor and Sasha had a heart-to-heart about Sasha's future and her attachment to her family. Hamilton met Roger Hart, told him that the missing Turner was found destroyed, and was unofficially "hired" by VendTech. Finn talked to Johnson and Maddie Beck. Johnson patched Finn up and gave him a little pep talk. Finally the party reconvened and got back out on the road. They were able to get a day's out from Central before they were stopped by several Liberty Knights …
