Mental characteristics

Gender Identity

Servos are build to be androgynous, their soul determines how masculine or feminine they are. Without being given a set sex, it is ultimately up to the owner or the Servo themself to choose that identity. Finn has never really given it much thought. He is content with maintaining the gender label given to him by Angela and Captain Grimm, as he feels it suits him. He's a feminine man, but nonetheless a man.

Sexuality

Finn has only recently considered that he could be capable of loving someone the same way a person can. With what he has observed/read/been told, it seems only logical that a man would prefer to be with a woman. Although, Finn has taken into consideration what Hamilton has said about loving all genders. Finn has come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter who he loves, man or woman. It depends on how they make him feel.

Education

Beyond what little he can recollect from when he worked for Angela, Hamilton, Eleanor and Sasha have been Finn's primary sources of an education. They have taught him proper manners, how to read, write, fight, and stand up himself. There are others that have contributed as well, such as Cookie with her knowledge of food and how to feel, and Johnson's lessons of social boundaries and friendship. Finn is very gullible and willing to listen, however, so most anyone could tell him anything and he would retain that information as fact.

Employment

Before working as a treasure diver for the Reapers in Mainfair, Finn worked as a caretaker and Angela's right hand at an orphanage in Sweetwater before Goodwin's Servo ban. Now-a-days he adventurers alongside Sasha and Hamilton doing freelance mercenary work. Finn is content with doing this for a long time.

Failures & Embarrassments

Finn is clumsy. In his attempts to prove himself and be "cool", he frequently makes situations worse for himself and others. He's not too savvy with conversation, either, having a loose understanding of the world around him and no bedside manner. Unbenounced to him, he often embarasses himself.

Mental Trauma

Angela, the orphanage, and the kids hold a special place in Finn's subconscious. He shoves how he feels about his past down, as it confuses him too much. There's a lot of internal conflict with how to go about unpacking the bittersweet memories. Finn does what he's best at, and uses his ignorance to his advantage. He tries to pick out what is practical from his memories, but from time to time he feels twinges of melancholy nostalgia. Angela and the kids inspire him to continue being helpful and kind.

Morality & Philosophy

Finn's naive perspective of the world is very black and white. There are good people, and there are bad people. Those who don't fall under those categories are ones that Finn doesn't know well enough to determine for himself.   Bad people are problems. Menaces to good people that Finn cares about; period. Bad people need to be gotten rid of, by whatever means. Sasha taught Finn to use violence as an answer, while Hamilton encourages Finn to take a more passive conversational route. Finn personally gets more fulfillment out of besting someone physically. It validates his desire to be strong and capable of protecting others.   However, there is an exception to this black and white ruling. Finn believes Servos only know what they are taught by their owners. Finn never blames a Servo for being bad on their own accord, whether that is the truth or not. Finn could never kill another Servo.

Social

Contacts & Relations

Sasha: Sasha is the most like Finn in a lot of ways. I feel as though Sasha has really lent a lot into shaping who Finn is, like his combat training, emphasis on being strong and imposing, and using actions rather than words. Finn loves Sasha very much, and regards her similar to an older sister. He worries the least about her safety, although he believes that she can more easily get emotionally overwhelmed than physically.   Hamilton:
Finn loves Hamilton too, and owes his skills of reading, writing, and garnering a more empathetic mindset. Finn enjoys listening to Hamiton’s tangents about the Mainland and all the crazy fantastical tech that they have, among other things. He knows that Hamilton won’t consider him to be as important as Delilah, and ultimately will want to go home, but he hopes that Hamilton loves him back and will remember him when he’s gone.
Eleanor: Finn worries the most for Eleanor. They have spoken here and there, but Finn feels the most detached from Eleanor out of the party. He hopes to learn more about her and what she has hinted about her past.

A dopey custom servo created with the intention of being a caregiver to children. Abandoned and wiped of all his memories, Finn has had to discover himself all over again with only fragments of who he once was.
