Eleanor was a Zso woman who traveled across Nevurdul, attempting to help members of her kind understand the world around them. She traveled with Sasha Densharr, Hamilton Caldwell, and Finn, and acted as a voice of reason for the party. She more recently had shown an interest in helping with combat as well.

Appearance

Eleanor was a female Zso with shoulder-length black hair that waved toward its ends. Her horns were quite short, rounding at the tips. Eleanor's features were kind and docile, eluding to how she was as a person. Her tail rounded at the tip, similar to her horns. While her outfits had changed multiple times throughout the campaign, she typically wore simple adventurer's gear in neutral colors, such as browns and grays. Other times, she enjoyed wearing long dresses.

Personality

Eleanor was a kind person, shown to genuinely care for her friends. She preferred to follow the rules of the settlements she entered, but was willing to forego the rules to help those she cared about, such as when she helped Sasha when she got into a fight with two Remington Guards. Eleanor was an understanding person, and was at her best when she was helping someone through their problems.

In awkward situations, Eleanor attempted to use humor to fill the silence, which often didn't help. She tended to be gentle with others, but was capable of being firm with those that she was more comfortable with. On rare occasions, she could even lash out when her friends were truly in danger.

Eleanor had become very protective of the party over time, and refused to be apart from them for long periods of time. This could be attributed to when she stayed behind while the party went to Liberty Castle. In her later days, Eleanor had shown a desire to contribute to the group more, and had taken to practicing her combat skills.

Background

When she first emerged onto the island, Eleanor was found by three traveling Zso. The leader of this group was Calico Jack. He and his group had tasked themselves with finding Zso just entering the world and teaching them the fundamentals of life. They spent several months teaching Eleanor, leading to Jack developing feelings for her. With some convincing from the rest of his group, she was allowed to join them permanently.

Over the years, Jack and Eleanor continued to grow closer, with Eleanor joining their band and learning to play the violin. Eventually, the two became a couple, and spent several more years with one another.

One day, bandits ambushed their carriage. Eleanor, in a moment of panic, fled the scene with the carriage and Peanut, leaving Jack and the rest of the group to fend from themselves. The rest of the group died, but Jack managed to survive.

From that day on, Eleanor vowed to continue Jack's work in helping her people. From then, her goal had expanded to a desire to help all of Nevurdul's people, no matter their race.

Fate

• Killed in the War for Nevurdul

During the War for Nevurdul, Eleanor fought in Dorothy District. When the bandits attacking the District overtook it, Eleanor was fatally wounded, and slowly began to bleed out. When the fight ended, she was rushed to Castle Remington, where she passed away after seeing her friends were okay.

Relationships

• Sasha Densharr: Eleanor had a very close bond with Sasha, ever since the two met through random circumstances. Eleanor had shown that she cared deeply for Sasha's safety and health, and had been seen going out of her way to ensure it. Most recently, Eleanor and Sasha had shown that they cared about each other romantically, and were trying to have a relationship.
• Hamilton Caldwell: While having a bit of a rocky history together, Eleanor seemed to regard Hamilton as a friend. The two had opened up about one another's hopes and fears in the past. Eleanor enjoyed having Hamilton around, and seemed to be getting more and more comfortable with him each day.
• Finn: Originally, Eleanor saw Finn as a child, as most people did initially. However, as the two spent time together, Eleanor had acknowledged Finn's growing maturity, and genuinely enjoyed his personality.
• Calico Jack: Eleanor and Jack spent many years loving one another. Ultimately, it all fell apart when she abandoned him; a moment that Eleanor regretted until the end of her days. She lived with the knowledge that she made Jack into what he became, and thought about him often.
• Cookie: Eleanor's feelings about Cookie were similar to her initial feelings about Finn, although these feelings about Cookie never really changed. Eleanor enjoyed Cookie's company, but was never going to open up to her about herself.

• Eleanor cooked her own meals, but she believed she was not very good with seasonings.
