Session 24 - When Hamilton met Roxie
General Summary
Hamilton wandered through the dark forest for a time, before coming upon a fire. As he looked around, suddenly Roxie herself emerged, weapon drawn. She explained that she had planned to do a job with Sal, but because Hamilton killed him, she has to find someone else. And that someone would be him. Seeing this as fair, Hamilton agreed, and the two set out toward this mysterious "job".
Meanwhile, Alice and Finn entered a strange tent in an alley. Inside, they met Razaphel, Teller of Tales, Seer of Sights, Dreamer of Dreams, who attempted to sell them drugs. He also told the two of them their fortunes.
Inside the Old Axe Inn, Sasha was suddenly attacked by the Giant innkeeper, who discovered she was the Trollslayer. With Eleanor's assistance, the two killed the innkeeper. Since they no longer felt safe staying at the inn, they went to go grab the others and get back on the road.
Hamilton and Roxie arrived at a small house in the woods. Roxie knocked on the door, and a woman answered it. Roxie let herself in, and made it clear she needed to speak with the woman's husband in private, despite his pleads. As Roxie took him into a side room, Hamilton stood there, weapons pointed at the man's wife and children. They all heard the sounds of Roxie beating the man, and the woman begged Hamilton to help them.
Hamilton ultimately burst into the room and forced Roxie to stop. She was surprised by this, but accepted the situation and left the house. She told Hamilton that he wasn't "cut out" for this kind of work, before walking away into the darkness.
Once Hamilton walked back to Central, the party quickly pulled him into the carriage and left the city, beginning their drive back to Remington Kingdom!
