Before it is anything else, Port Evergreen is Timberwelsh's property. The permanent population is about 50% elvish or half elvish, and the port is ruled indirectly via The Regal Timberwelk Navy. The navy deliberately tries to ensure that their presence in the port isn't overbearing, so as not to drive away visitors from other nations, but they are nonetheless present behind the scences, and open about the fact if asked.City of Lounges
Port Evergreen is best known for being a city of resorts, spas, and lounges. It markets itself as the ideal vacation spot, and significant chunks of money are spent each year of beautification and promotion. The port enjoys a constant stream of customers, most of whom will gladly sing the praises of the many amenities. The most loyal customers will buy a vacation home or retire here, generating further profits for those running the resorts, who are often in league with bigwigs in the navy.Calm on the Seas
Port Evergreen is an incredibly peaceful city. It is extremely well guarded, and criminal matters are dealt with swiftly and quietly. So long as you don't cause trouble here, it will rarely come to you. Within all the chaos of the seas, this port makes a perfect retreat.
