Harpish Hands
Though the island itself is relatively small, Port Cymbal is a bustling settlement and the centre of Harpsbilge's operations on the western Wild Sea. The majority of the denizens of the port are from Harpish, many of whom are in the whaling business. Even with the Harpish majority, the port is open to anybody and has a generally good reputation with foreigners (as long as they aren't pirates). The port also serves as a base of operations for this region's division of The Harpsbilgian Royal Navy, which usually has 20 or so ships within a few miles of the port.Whaler's Heaven
Port Cymbal is placed conveniently close to the centre of The Whaler's Blue. Given that it's a significant port, whalers flock here to sell their prizes. The port here is always full of ships hauling whale carcasses. The port sees huge amounts of money flow thanks to the whaling trade, with a number of businesspeople buying the whales and turning the important parts into profitable resources. The island even has a blubber processing facility and an oil lamp manufacturer.Seafood Capital of The Seas
Pory Cymbal is famed for the fantastic seafood served here. While whale meat is the standard dinner and has been appropriately mastered by chefs, a number of exotic fish are imported here from all across the seas. While they are expensive to eat, most would agree that the taste more than makes up for the lighter purse.
