The Infinite Hall
The Infinite Hall is a major plane that manifests as a long, straight stairwell about 20 feet across. On either side are numerous doorways that lead to other planes. Unfortunately for those who travel the Infinite Hall, these doors are unlabeled. There are no landmarks, and few methods to determine where each door leads.
Violence is prohibited in the Infinite Hall, a rule that is enforced by the guardians that roam its stairs.
Geography
Methods of determining ones location in the Infinite Hall is generally based off of the number of steps or doors one has traveled from a known location. However, as new planes are created, new doors can appear or disappear. If one finds themselves in the Infinite Hall without knowing where they started, they are effectively lost unless they happen to meet another traveler.
Unfortunately for travelers of the Infinite Hall, doorways can sometimes be added or removed if a plane is destroyed or created.
