Use of Ṣef̂ǒl Dye in Uniform

Ṣef̂ǒl is prized as a dye for its vivid yellow color, and various patterns of it are used to designate certain military and civilian personnel.

Execution

Medical doctors wear thick yellow stripes wrapped around their shoulders, joining in points above their chest and the middle of their back.   Weapons technicians wear a yellow stripe down their right side.   Similarly, engine technicians wear a yellow stripe down the left side and across the hips like a belt.   Miners dress almost exclusively in Ṣef̂ǒl yellow.   Metalsmiths cover their backs in yellow to give themselves a consistent marker in little danger of being covered by soot.   The staff of the Artificial Moon all wear solid yellow-white.
