Personal history

The year that Testho was born into Jal'sa droga was a year the Religious Experts of the clan noticed an uptick in reports of pups belonging to no one. Assumed to be the Snow Pups, this was taken to be a good omen for the coming year. Testho grew up learning first the Childlore of the Greater Pass, and as an extension of that The Lore and Practices of the Greater Pass. She has routinely seen the Snow Pups over the years, and once had a sighting of the Snow Warrior during one of her Legend Trips beyond the Pass, in the haze of falling snow. After she passed her Citizenship Trial, she joined the crew of the Udenle as a Weapons Technician. During her tour, the ship was assigned away from active battlefields, and in the course of her duties, she was called on to rescue Ta'zhen from the vastness of space.

Testho was raised in the Greater Pass village of Jal'sa droga, with all of its particular folk beliefs surrounding the Snow Warrior and associated Pups. She claims to have seen the former, and is very familiar with the stories of the latter as individuals roaming the settlement and generally doing pup-like things. Among the clan, the Pups in particular are known for hospitality checks, and people who pass may be rewarded or at least left alone. Her beliefs in the gods specifically are much less well defined.

History

Testho helps save Ta'zhen's life from an assassination attempt, and upon seeing who it is became fascinated. She had heard about, but never seen, the human, and wanted to know more. Ta'zhen, for her part, was struck by Testho and would happily start conversations with her. Over time, Testho became involved, at first through circumstance and then by choice, in Ta'zhen's attempt to overthrow the current regime.
