Welcome to Morn

What is Morn?

Morn is a mid-magic fantasy setting where the continents are separated by the vasting gaping chasm of the Downworld. Airships have recently been invented, connecting the different races of Morn once again. Tension is brewing between the diverse warm-blooded races and the militaristic Draconic races.   Morn is home to diverse environments and people. In Nilandra, the human-dominated Carenthian Empire keeps a watchful eye on its border with Draconir. In Thaerwood, the druidic wood elves of Greenshade are on alert for signs of necromancy from their Pale Elf cousins. The Velathan Tabaxi have just recovered from a civil war and are rebuilding their economy. Meanwhile, the Radiant Coast enjoys relative peace and prosperity from their booming airship manufacturing base.   In Ashun, Nulladoran dwarves can't keep up with demand for their airships. The Goliaths of Temora struggle to repel marauding bands of orcish herdsmen from The Outlands. Fire Eaters patrol the Ashmounts as they spew volcanic material into the surrounding Maarlands.   In Talsirenn, the reclusive high elves keep to themselves, allowing few if any airships into their space. Not much is known about the continent by those who do not live there, but it is said to be home to a variety of flying creatures and elves.

Morn is divided into three continents and the Downworld:

Nilandra is the largest and most central continent, home to the great powers of the Carenthian Empire and Draconir.

Ashun is the easternmost continent and hosts arid brushlands, deserts, and ashen volcanic regions.

Talsirenn is the westernmost continent and holds the pristine home of high elves.

The Downworld is the gaping expanse between the continents where once there were oceans. Its depths are obscured by thick mists.
