Pale Elf
Pale elves are a subrace of elf that diverged from the wood elves of Thaerwood before the Collapse. Forging their own path under the dark moon of Morrigan, they honed the art of necromancy and turned their territory of Bleakwood into a decaying, dead forest. When pale elves conduct necromancy, they are able to draw from the energy of any nearby living creature to enhance their arcane abilities. Pale elves draw suspicion and fear from others when they travel beyond their home of Bleakwood, especially in the other regions of Nilandra where their reputation is one of evil and death. Even those pale elves who have renounced necromancy find themselves the target of suspicious glares when travelling around Nilandra.

- Speed: 30 feet
- Darkvision: You have Darkvision with a range of 120 feet.
- Talsirenn Ancestry: You have Advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the Charmed condition.
- Keen senses: You have proficiency in the Insight, Perception, or Survival skill.
- Trance: You don't need to sleep, and magic can't put you to sleep. You finish a Long Rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in a trancelike meditation, during which you retain consciousness.
- Pale Elven Lineage: You know the Chill Touch cantrip. At level 3 you learn the False Life spell. At level 5, you learn the Blindness/Deafness spell. You always have these spells prepared and can cast them once without using a spell slot. You regain the ability to cast them in this way after a Long Rest.
- Languages: You speak Elvish.
