Jorrunde

Jorrunde (a.k.a. Big Lady)

Jorrunde is a tall Northlander raider who attracted enough attention to gain a bounty on her head from High Queen Aislinn Dunaid. She was captured in Duke Hueck Greyhall's territory and he planned on turning her in for the bounty, but she was rescued by the Eastbridge Trade Guild and hidden away in a safehouse. Malthus Normal hired the party to take her and the other occupants of the safehouse to Caer Craftenor, out of the Duke's jurisdiction. During this same time, Duke Hueck hired the Heroes of Halfbrook to return the escaped fugitives.
Bolvaic had a romantic interest in Jorrunde, who teased in return, though not before he gave her the nickname of Big Lady. Once taken to Caer Craftenor, the party discovered that the Trade Guild was considering turning her over for the bounty and the League instead paid for her freedom. They also covered that the Heroes of Halfbrook had claimed to have succeeded with the criminals, though because of an errant fireball, they returns with unidentifiable charred corpses.
However, this meant that she and the other fugitives were considered to be dead and there was no longer an active pursuit for them. When Eastbridge was captured by Harrison Garrington in a bid to claim the title of Duke, Jorrunde arrived with a group of Northlander raiders to battle to try to liberate the city. After the League liberated Eastbridge, Tertius offered her safety and protection within his Duchy.
Jorrunde reported to Tertius that a great malestrom had opened and closed outside of the Oldeander city of Paraetonium on the Isle of Ilfor. She also reported to smoke coming from the city. The party assumed that this had to do with the vision of the Great Leviathan being captured and they went to investigate.
Jorrunde took the party to Paraetonium aboard her longship, The Seaward. When they were halted by an Oleander warship, the party was able to get on board and take command of the ship. Jorrunde used this ship to wait in the bay to offer the party an escape from Paraetonium after they freed the Great Leviathan.
