The Seaward
The Seaward is a sleek and sturdy Northlander longship captained by the seasoned raider Jorrunde. Crafted with Northlander precision, the ship features a hull made of durable oak, reinforced with iron rivets and adorned with intricate carvings of sea serpents and storm clouds. It boasts a single mast with a broad, square sail dyed in deep blue and gray, reminiscent of stormy seas. Along the edges of the hull are wooden shields emblazoned with symbols of Jorrunde's clan, their colors a striking combination of black and crimson, signaling both allegiance and warning to others.
The Seaward is built for speed and maneuverability, with a low profile and narrow beam that allows it to cut swiftly through turbulent waters. Oars line either side, manned by a crew of fierce Northlanders who are as adept at rowing as they are at wielding axes and shields. Each crew member is handpicked by Jorrunde for their loyalty and prowess, forming a tight-knit and formidable team ready to face the dangers of both sea and land.
As its name implies, the Seaward is well-suited for open-ocean voyages, capable of enduring the unpredictable currents and fierce storms of the northern seas, also that Jorrunde is a cunt.
