Spruce was educated in the court of Baron Javorn Selter alongside the Baron's granddaughter, Wisteria. There he learned math, reading, history, and politics.
Employment
Spruce is a traveling minstrel. Since the sacking of Embermire, he has wandered the the realm. He often ends up in various towns along the coast and can be found playing his music in taverns and inns. His talent has garnered him some degree of renown and he is regularly able secure free lodging in return for performances to draw in customers.

Motivation
As a young man, Spruce would attend various court events. On one occasion he attended a ball at the local baron's home. During that fateful night, he would watch how the hired bard nearly hypnotized the crowd with his song. From that day onward, Spruce decided that he wanted that kind of influence and began to spend hours studying the musical arts.

Spruce suffers from a minor form of claustrophobia and doesn't particularly care for dungeons, caves, etc.

Spruce is the youngest of four children. His father was a wealthy merchant, while his mother worked under the employment of Baron Javorn Selter as a housemaid. His family was close with the Baron and Spruce was afforded the opportunity to spend time in the court. The young half-elf quickly made friends with the granddaughter of the Baron, a young girl named Wisteria.
Mannerisms
Spruce tends to be fairly pragmatic and has a take-charge attitude. He can often be found out front, leading his party into battle when the time comes.
