Corby was born into a noble family. He learned weaponry, but took more of an interest in battle tactics. In middle age he won a seat on the Council of Warriors. When the Council divided, Corby sided with Kyren Anzora and Adina Thycaris in favor of a new government. He took was one of the loudest voices speaking for Anzora as king. At the Battle of Talamor, Corby joined Thycaris and Adamon Blackhold in the flight to Dakan. His impressive tactical skills were what led to many early Rebel victories.
