Ghostwood
Ghostwood is located in the north western corner of Shin Ferin. The territory controlled by the city state is covered in dense temperate forests from which the city state takes its name. The Ghostwood is dotted with swamps and rivers, and is notoriously difficult to traverse for outsiders. The territory controlled by the Ghostwood tribes is one of two parts of The Free Cities that connect to Zerk territory in the north, however the Zerk have never penetrated the forests. Dozens of war parties have been lost in the Ghostwood through out history, and to this day the northern most parts of the Ghostwood remain unmapped. The Ghostwood is also the only place where Ghost Wood trees are known to grow, though only the highest artisans under the Elph King know exactly where the groves are located.
