Chachren, the Storm's Rage
The bearer of anger, king of storms, and protector of light.
"Far below Breharan lies the Floor - the home of Chachren. While Astrenza gently drifts above us he seethes in the skies below. He certainly isn't anyone's favourite god around here - especially the sailors who would curse his name if he wouldn't curse them back - but you also won't find anyone who would doubt his power. That storm below us is unending, it goes as far as the eye can see in every direction, and it can still spare power to give us storms and rain."
The Primordial One
Among the gods worshipped by the people of Tamazee, Chachren is said to be the oldest. It is from his storm - the Floor - that the energy of the entire sky emerges. They say that the storm has been around since the very beginning of time and that its strength has never faltered - a font of limitless power. Despite being the strongest of all the gods - among those of the people of the Geetan Archipelago anyway - his personality is as violent and unpredictable as the storms themselves. He is prone to jealousy, rash actions, and fits of rage. For this, the people fear him or worship him only to prevent him from causing harm. When his rage boiled over storms assaulted the skies and caused the Time of Darkness.Keeper of the Dark
Long ago, in the time before mortals, there was a great dissension among the gods. Quldath led others to take control of the skies, succeeding in killing the first king of the sky - Chachren's father. The victory was short-lived as the other gods surrounded them and some of Quldath's allies turned on him after seeing the brutal way in which he killed the king of the sky. All who stayed by his side were killed - most by Chachren - but Quldath narrowly escaped and fled below the Floor into the Void. As the strongest of the remaining gods it falls on Chachren to keep Quldath and his minions at bay. He made a bond with the Floor, becoming its new host, before it faded away because of his father's death. He performs his duty admirably but has never in all the millenia since overcome the death of his father only reluctantly accepting his father's former title. He Who Stands Above and Below
Chachren is drawn or described as taking the form of an enormous man often standing on a stormcloud and looking down upon others and with the visage of someone enjoying the power he holds. In contrast to this, he is also the god who lives below and looks up at the islands and the other gods with envy, in this case depicted with a look of anger as he seethes in the Floor below. His body is muscular from head to toe and his skin is often grey. A red robe is his most iconic outfit, depicted in different levels of detail by different artists but is commonly accepted that the robe has gold embroidery in the shape of storm clouds.Stub Article

When Astrenza chose another god over him, Chachren cursed her into the form of a fish and turned many people who worshipped her into stone pillars in the Astrensea. Astrenza eventually regained her form with the help of a fisherman but the cursed mortals remain. The Stormbearer
There is a tale from the Time of Darkness - and before Astrenza cried the Astrensea - that one person asked for the power to save their family from one of the dangerous creatures that roamed Breharan during that time. This individual pleaded not to a single god but openly to the skies, to any who would listen, and Chachren answered. Granted the power to scream like thunder and send lightning forth from their fingertips, this person became the Stormbearer.
