Helath
The natives of Helathen are as varied as the city states they belong to, from a Kamera Helath to a Selaki Helath, sharing only the ideal that Helathen will bow to no-one. They cherish that which is theirs, and that those who deserve to be where they are earned it through their actions. Even a slave can aspire to more in this land.

Major language groups and dialects
While all people of Helath have learned the Common tongue, the three native languages of the Helath are Low Hellanic, High Hellanic and Modern Hellanic. Modern Hellanic is the language most spoken by the Polis and the Helot, the most commonly heard of the tongues. High Hellanic is the variant spoken mostly by nobility or higher echelons of Helathen society. Low Hellanic is the original tongue, rarely spoken by citizens anymore and most found in the writings of those who founded the nation some six hundred years prior.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
The Triadok
While its exact contents differ from city state to city state (or sometimes not used at all), the Triadok is the Helathen method of selecting a leader. During this Ordeal, prospective leaders must undergo three tests.
The First is a Test of Strength. Through this method they must show their physical and mental fortitude in dealing with a challenge laid before them – whittling down their numbers.
The Second is a Test of Combat, where they must fight one another until their numbers are whittled down further.
The Final is a Test of Leadership, where the remaining figures will battle each other en masse, but this time with a small combat group at their backs. This shows who can not only fight with an army at their side, but who can lead their group the best. A Successful person does not even necessarily have to win this Test, but prove their qualities as a Leader.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Helath tend to admire that which is more important in their area, be it mental prowess or able bodiedness. That is not to say they are not above attraction to physical apperance, but it is certainly not what dictates their standards.
Gender Ideals
Gender rarely dictates the position of the people of Helathen or attraction. Some city states have been known to encourage their denzins to enjoy the pleasures of the flesh before they settle down, no matter who that might be with - so long as its legal.
