Geography
The Coviorian Republic is split into and East and West connected by a small isthmus. Eastern Covioria is filled with savanna and jungle, with some deciduous forests to the north and south. The center of western Covioria is taken up by the Vassily Mountains, the north and coast by hilly deciduous forest, and the south by savanna.Structure
The Coviorian Republic is ruled by the Coviorian Parliament. Each parliamentary session lasts five years, with each member being selected from their own territory by the ruler or rulers of that territory. The number of parliamentarians allotted to each territory is determined by the treaty and politics surrounding its entrance to the Republic. The Coviorian Parliament is overseen by the First Tribune, who administers to the Republic and coordinates any military activity undertaken by the Republic.
Demography and Population
While Covioria is made primarily of Humans, it also has the largest concentration of Clockworks, with the wizards of Maryam knowing the secrets of their creation. In addition, each state and territory is its own region, with its own peoples. From a separatist group of Salamanders, to Dwarf kingdoms in the mountains, to a one-clan Orc settlement, Covioria has almost every size and shape of person conceivable. There is even talk of a Changeling refuge rumored somewhere within.
Culture
Covioria is a diverse country with a diverse set of cultures, and each princedom and territory has its own stereotypes. Because of that, outsiders view Coviorians as indecisive and lacking character. Coviorians tend to favor bright, vibrant, colors of all shades and hues, often trying to outdo each other in garish and ostentatious displays. In particular, they wear patterned clothing, each pattern representing a noble house, territory, or homeland.
