Note: Clockworks are no longer a playable ancestry because they're immune to everything fun (starvation, disease, breathing, sleep...).
Clockworks are people created by binding souls stolen from the Underworld to mechanical bodies. Clockworks have many different forms, and their origins determine the paths they will walk.

The secrets of clockwork creation originated in the Covioria Republic, in the Magocracy of Maryam. Most clockwork are thus found in Covioria, with some provinces composed entirely of clockworks. A few are found in the surrounding countries, Northern Ilisuaqian Empire, and Southern Gedia Empire.
