Gathering / Conference
The first meeting of the Ourithanur Collective, which formed from the refuse of and fringe fragments of the Monadnock Symposium. Their creation would launch the national recognition of eugenics as a tragedy in the River Kingdom of Nim.
After the Decline of the Monadnock Symposium , those that wished to continue to express their ideas would form several fringe organizations, each proposing their own statements of intent rife with new social and scientific concepts. The largest of these organizations was the Ourithanur Collective, who proposed an idealized world by studying the cosmic history of Melifi and the Ourithanur myth. The collective was a massive success, providing its members with the medium of written dialogue and records that they had craved in the preceding decades; however, this reprieve from oral dialogues came with a price: the crux of the collectives desires was eugenics. In particular, those in the organization wished to study and rid the world of dark elves (and by doing so, coming to a deeper understanding of the Ourithanur itself). It would take years for the concept of eugenics to become mainstream within the collective, but the presence of the concept would be what they were remembered for (even after they long abandoned it centuries later). In its early years, the collective would serve as more than an independent research organization, as it would house most of its members across small villages in eastern Silse, each of which had declared a welcomed independence from Nim itself. Among these villages were separate ideas and organizations, most of which folded themselves into the evergrowing collective. In response to the organizations unprecedented growth (as well as an increasing scientific desire), Vhou Riyael would soon take action in providing long overdue reparations to the dark elves, allowing them respite from Ghei Wyl, Urale, and the Ourithanur Collective.
