Gerron (Gare-on)
Gerron was the city built by the soldiers deployed at Fort Feneyl. Always overperforming, but always underappreciated. In fact, this is considered one of King Riyael's greatest mistakes. A combination of not appreciating their success and ignoring their cautions or requests for help contributed in large part to their push for independence. This push was the first domino in what would lead to a continent-wide civil war. At first development, the excess of iron allowed them to quickly develop a city. Riyael was more than willing to exchange wood, coal, food, etc. for more iron. Even though it was the first city developed, it is not the capital of Western Elvish civilization in the 5th era, as this is designated to Ilobel.
Unlike Morie You, Gerron held its important political activities in the city itself, rather than the founding fort. This was the first suspicious activity by the Feneyl family and people. It is not fully understood if they wanted to revolt at this time, but performing political activities as far from the kingdom as possible was suspicious.
