General Summary
Brilsi 34
Ivan sees Adaon attack what appears to be a demon. As Adaon jumps onto the back of the demon, putting a full nelson on it, Ivan sees them both vanish.
Ivan decides to put on the device that changes his gender. This makes his slightly smaller, and he changes his demeanor to look more "friendly".
Adaon appears in a plane of pure darkness. The demon does not seem to be around him. It is extremely warm, as he had previously used a spell to make himself on fire, this does not bother him. He can barely see himself. He spends about 30 or so seconds casting a spell to traceback to where he came from, and he uses the sword to portal back.
Ivan sees a fire elemental appear in the hallway before him, screaming. He prepares to attack, and it immediately transforms into Adaon. Adaon collapses. He casts a healing spell on himself, as his back feels like it has been flayed open. When healed, he realizes that his back muscles are damaged such that he is permanently weakened. They talk, and teleport back to Valkra .
Once there, they call a page to get Queen Althea's attention. The page comes and runs off to get her. Meanwhile, Ivan examines the wound, and deduces that it was some kind of barbed whip that had torn through the armour and flesh.
Brilsi 35
After researching the prophesy of the return of the devil-summoner, they decide to spend some time consulting with DonavanShonuff. He tells them that the wizard once summoned M'Garros and was banished into another plane, and was not expected to be able to escape for at least another 100 years.
They then get into a discussion of Althea's ancient family history and the legend of how Molworphi Draconis von Dencon has set things up so that he is re-incarnated every few generations. This ties him to the land god of Valkra, ideally preserving the kingdom from ever collapsing -- Valkra the ever-kingdom. This means that Althea is a direct descendent on the male side (either her father or grandfather is a direct descendant of Molworphi).
While waiting for Althea, Adaon farspeaksto Catalina and tells her what has been happening. She tells them about the frost demon, Vfroengnyjareagh and its powers. Also that it is part of a genus of at least six demons with similar powers.
While Adaon rests Ivan runs into a group of four Weissjarai who appear to recognize him. He quickly hushes them up and convinces them not to tell anyone that they've seen him.
With much conversation between our two heroes and Molworphi, they come to the conclusion that they need five powerful wizards to defeat and imprison the devil and its summoner: an arch-mage, a powerful sorcerer, a demonologist, a necromancer, and a priest of Ga-La. They know four of these, and only have to find a powerful priest (or priestess).
Ivan suggests that Ashira, Althea's court wizard, may be good enough, as well. But they're not sure if she is or not.
Lord Shonuff also mentions that using any kind of godly powers, such as paladin's prayers and holy weapons, can help in capturing a devil.
Missions/Quests Completed
The group has figured out that they will have to defeat a devil. They are not certain if the wizard who summoned it is at large or if the devil has broken free and is now on its own doing the strange things that are happening in The Kingdom of Valkra.
