The Rod of Pride has six charges. Every day at dawn, it regains 1d6 of these charges. The attuned wielder can spend one, two, or six charges when they use the rod. 1 CHARGE: The attuned wielder can cast the Command spell. The DC to resist this is 12+the wielder's Cha and Proficiency bonuses. 2 CHARGES: The attuned wielder can cast Charm Person. 6 CHARGES: The attuned wielder can cast True Polymorph, with the following exceptions: it can only polymorph the target into a peacock, the transformation becomes permanent after 1 minute instead of 1 hour, and it has a range of touch. The Rod of Pride can be wielded as a +3 Mace.A golden-bronze rod with a stylized peacock mounted on top. The peacock has been meticulously enameled for coloration, and its eyes are emeralds.

Personal history
Krysanke was raised to be a huntress, stalking game fowl and being deadly with a sling. She developed a taste for wearing feathers as clothing, and her family's wealth allowed her to wrap herself in silks.
Her Becoming was a grand adventure. She and her colleagues were assigned to seek out and report on a bandit camp. Rather than simply reporting it, they resolved to break the camp up, and a battle ensued between roughly thirty bandits and the twelve young adventurers. It was Krysanke that dealt the decisive blow; her sling put a bullet into the eyesocket of the bandit warchief, killing him instantly and causing a rout.
As an adult, Krysanke continued to enjoy the finer things and was readopted into the FeathersKnights of ScarrohsupersedeDeminite faith, she saw an opportunity and personally killed the reigning abbot
