General Physical Condition

Carthurg has become somewhat portly over the years, though he's as strong as any Bugbear

Facial Features

Carthurg is ugly, even for a Bugbear. His face has been described as that of a "hirsute warthog." To better move around the Foothills, he wears a greathelm in a basket style, completely obscuring his visage.

Special abilities

Carthurg is a warmage arcanist.

Apparel & Accessories

Carthurg derives his nickname from his basket-faced greathelm. Not only does it obscure his face, but it is also enchanted to allow him to comfortably operate in the daytime.
His meditation tinkering is devoted to his lantern, which glows with an eerie purple light. He can use it to cast a magical sleep spell, usually the sentry on duty at night in a camp holding something he wants to steal.

Personal history

Reared in the Bugbear Fotakari, Carthurg was trained as a warmage commando and sent into Cambreath to look for any weaknesses to exploit. Initially, falling in with Giread Bheke was a pragmatic alliance. Sometime over the intervening years, he became a true believer in the mission of Miulkari Di'werkihlna and stalks the Foothills with his squad looking for magic or information to sacrifice as well as looking to undermine Margrave Arronax Skinner.

Carthurg has been sleeping with female members of his cell since he signed on, as is traditional for commanders in the Legions.
