A series of wars fought between the city states which once occupied present day Tajj Neta for control of the eastern lands of Natua and access to the Bay of Kotok Nas.
Emperor Szeng waged a twenty-year war to unify all of the city-states inhabiting what is now known as Tajj Neta.
The invention of a specialized arrow which whistles a specified tone when shot. Used to effect communication during battles. Instrumental in the organization of Emperor Szeng's forces during his Unification Crusade.
Emperor Szeng laid siege to the city-state of Alasu, the last holdout of any resistance to his militaristic unification of the subcontinent. The siege lasted for one year, until it gave in and was renamed as Suszeng, thus ending the Unification Crusade.
The sky is lit with a shimmering green and purple much like the northern auroras, yet one which persists into the daytime and lasts for several years. The sciences of the time are unable to explain this occurrence and it is viewed as a blessing from the long-lost gods, a beacon of divine approval following the death of the great uniter Emperor Szeng.
The language of Neta is officially codified into a writing system, allowing for more efficient and longer-lasting communication.
A host of academic institutions are founded in the Empire's capital city of Suszeng, following the formalization of a common writing system three decades prior. Among the major academies founded are those for the study of natural sciences, religious sciences, and societal arts, among a host of smaller, more specified institutions. The only still-standing academy from this age is the Suszeng Academy for Societal Arts.
After 185 years of rule from the dynasty started by the great Emperor Szeng, the aging Emperor Rhal Qalisz loses his only son to a clan of barbarians in the Broken Lands, and refuses to name another heir before his passing in the year T.S.IV.30, ending the Qalisz dynastic bloodline.
The Gray Curse was a devastating plague which spread throughout Tajj Neta just as its cities began to grow to unprecedented numbers. The curse gets its name from the dry, gray paleness which would overtake patients' skin just before their death.
Beginning in T.S.XIV.26 and ending in T.S.XIV.33, the government of Tajj Neta annexed the Tanadszomo Mountains under the pretext that it was unstable due to various internal conflicts. They now collect taxes and enforce a martial rule over the land and the indigenous Tanadszomo tribes who call it home.
A short-lived rebellion of magic-wielding citizens of Utaszu, who hoped to secede from the empire and form their own society where magic is allowed to be used freely. Stopped by Matu Morok, the Pangolin Knight.
