It started with Meried's travels. Of course some worlds collided at some point before, and there were explorers after him. Oh, there were so many explorers! But it was him who start to spread the curiosity about how big was the universe.
The Eight World's Healers became a society when all of them contributed to the construction of a common building, both comfortable and easy to defend.
To many healers were living in the building, and even those who live in their respective regions pledge loyalty to the organization. In the Eight World, that meant they were worthy to be conquered. Well, they could try. The Healers chase the invaders away and fortify their building in a single year. So far no one has find out a way to break in or even force them out.
The King's intention may have been good, as well as his results, but people like their free will. While many had enough with complaining and grumbling, and a few still tried to reason with The Well-intended King, some wanted to end his rule. The conspiracies were many, not always related or consistent. The longer they wait, and the higher their numbers become, there was also a raise in the violence involved. Lots of people ran, in different times, afraid of the bloodshed that became more likely every day.
The year of Dler's disappearance is unclear. This is, in fact, the first years in which there is no mentions of her in any available records.
The legend says she left her world and continue the search for her mother in others. This theory fits with the idea of her being the creator of all those D'hale traveling spells.
Given her advanced age (78), she may have died or was unable to keep chasing after rumors, clues and hunches.
As far as we know, she could have even discover what happened with her mother, quietly ending her journey then.
Studies conducted at the late Discovering age suggested that Desidia was transmited between household members. The most reliable of those studies where those directed by Corsi, Tarlin, Zode and Buit. Zode determined it was viral, while Buit and Tarlin considered bacteria as the source. Corsi didn't collect enough data to come to a conclusion on that, but she was sure that it wasn't inherited. None of them managed to actually determine the cause of the disease.
Beginning with the first attempts of foundation of Enlightened Worlds Community, the current age is defined by an ideal of mutual respect. It's a work in progress, of course.
