Known Universe
8th Century of Community
There are infinite planets—or fourteen— and infinite layers—or eight—in the universe. But there is a limited number of actual inhabited worlds. As historians of the Enlightened Worlds Community, we keep record of every world we are able to reach at this point.
No known civilization has the resources or interest to find other worlds. Even the original travelers were unable to reach more, so maybe that's it. Or maybe the time to meet them is yet to come. It's probably for the best. It's already hard enough to reach an agreement between the Enlightened and protect the Unaware.
