Crown Prince of America

The title of Crown Prince or Princess of America, is given to the heir apparent to the throne of the monarch. The current Crown Prince is Prince James.

Duties

The Crown Prince has historically inspected many government funded buildings and organizations in lieu of the monarch. This practice began with the first Crown Prince, Louis Ferdinand, and Prince Augustus when they first inspected training and conduct at the Officer and Engineering Drill School and later the Royal Academy of the Arts. In the latter, the two also began the tradition of the Crown Prince inserting submissions, including Louis Ferdinand's musical compositions.

Beginning in 1831, the Crown Prince has been designated as the Prince Regent of Sequoyah. In this office, the Crown Prince has limited sovereignty over the territory, acting similar to a state governor.
