Elves
The original Elves are a rarity today. Once having an empire that spanned all of Kalin the Elves have now been split and changed after the fall of their empire. The most notable offshoots of the original Elves are the High Elves, Wood Elves, and Drow.
So called “Pure-Elves” or “True Elves" still exist in small enclaves, and notably in the nation of Ithalin (though many do not consider them true elves).
True Elves originally came from the Torva’Ne (Elven Homeland) and its forests to the east. They are known for their nimble agility and keen minds. They are also extremely long lived, with true elves never dying to old age, though this trait has been lost by the Elves of Italian.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
While once "True Elves" spanned all across Kalin, they now mostly reside in Ithalin, and just how much these Elves are truly like the Elves of old is up for debate (Especially considering their much shortened lifespans).

Most Elves are like their cousins and tend to be tall and lithe, though the Elves of Ithalin are an exception and tend to be bulkier.
