Highwater Tower
A small fortress tower guarding a pass leading between Genlith and Raendor and owned by House Krennel
There is a central tower with protective walls and a nearby garrison of troops. Along a ridge accessed only from the tower is a second smaller lookout watchtower, Lokkan's Point
The fortress gains its name from a nearby waterfall that plunges down into a lake on the banks of which is the settlement of Tenelby
History
In early 1051 it was the site of a planned ambush of Count Adriel and his companions, led by Commander Satthik with the assistance of Commander Nemm of Highwater Tower who for reasons unclear was willing to turn traitor. While the ambush was foiled and the troops of Raendor finally expelled from the tower this was not before much of the interior was burned.
At the end of Highwater, 1051 it was the location of a battle in the pass leading eastward to Cardun between Genlith forces led by Adriel and a force from Raendor which included Trollkin
